Yep. I've been in college having loads of fun. 13 credits total. English 101, Math49 (so freaking easy. Damn I can't believe I didn't remember how to solve Algebra when I took the test. Ack.) and English 120/Creative Writing. The first two are worth 5 credits each and the last one is worth 3 credits.
So far I have a B in English 101. However, I'm not sure what I have in the other two classes as those professors haven't passed out the grades yet. I thought I was going to have a C in English 101. Although, I still have 4 weeks to mess everything up. I cut back my hours at work when I first started, but I just got them back up to almost eight hours every day. Pretty much working full time now. I'm very excited about that since I'll be bringing in more money.
I have a car, but it's being fixed right now. Not sure I'm going to have it before school ends. Which makes things more difficult than they could have been, but that's okay. Riding the bus isn't too bad and I can do my homework on the bus as I'm riding home (I perfected this bit a long time ago).
Anyway, as soon as I finish college (which ends on June 9th) I'll be able to work full time during the summer while doing some review of my courses. Going to save up money during the summer and then concentrate completely on school.
As for my major, in case anyone is wondering, it's going to be English. I want to be a writer and possibly teach English as well. As soon as I finish my two years at this community college, I'm going to transfer to MSU. I'm going to work during the summers between and save up as much money as possible. I'm also working on a novel during this time and hopefully I'll have it completed and sent off to as many agents and publishers as possible by the middle of this summer.
